NAME:  Aidan Mettel

HOME TOWN:  Weston, CT

B’NAI MITZVAH DATE:  March 14, 2015

For my Mitzvah project, I will be collecting basketball shorts and lightly worn or used sneakers for a program called Full Court Peace located in New Canaan, Connecticut. Full Court Peace is a globally connected basketball community that serves all populations regardless of race or socioeconomic status. Their goal is to bring together different races and cultures through out basketball.

One of the things I have done for a long time is played basketball, it was one of my passions. One of my favorite things besides playing basketball, was wearing the cool clothes/basketball shoes. Because of my size, I had to get new shoes and clothes constantly. I have so many pairs of worn shoes and nice clothes that just don't fit me anymore and I didn't really know what to do with them, until I found Full Court Peace. I can donate them my worn shoes and clothes and help give it to people for a good cause.

HELP NEEDED:  Things that can be donated to Full Court Peace are lightly worn basketball shoes and basketball shorts. I will have a bin where you can put these items at the entrance of Temple B'nai Chaim

Thank You!
